Poster Options

Hey Everybody,
We need to vote on posters ASAP so we can submit them for approval  by the 12th.
We have not gotten a lot --err any response for outsourcing poster design to graphic design kids.
If anyone wants to take a stab at it please just upload more!
Please vote by commenting below.

Best,
Ashleigh

Sara D made this poster. No.1

  1. I vote for the option Griffin's sister made... only with better information filled in the bottom!!!

  2. I think that if it is too cluttered, we might lose an passer-by that possibly could glance over, and find interest. I feel no.6 is too busy, I would choose either No.7, No. 5 if we can add a little color, or No. 1.

  3. number 3! the only problem i have with that one is the dates, i think numbers may be more effective. my second vote is for number 4

  4. PS. Courtney I agree numbers would be better on #3 but that text has no numbers.... (it is circus off that font site you showed me)

  5. I say #5!
If it was pulled back a little to make it look like a crumbled sheet of paper on a flat surface.. like more edges, that would be nice. If printed poster size, people would def. be interested to see what it was. For real. maybe even a little cartoon drawing of a shitty camera in the white space.. (like a doodle-esque thing)

  6. I think #5 would get lost amongst all the other papers hanging on the wall around it. I see posters everyday in the Broad St. art building stair wall. Something like this wouldn't necessarily catch my eye unless it was huge. How big are these going to be printed?

  7. No. 3
The other ones are boring and the one I made and Griffin's sister made are busy. The font on number 3 is rough...the spacing on the text needs some work.

  8. #3 is my favorite. I agree with sarah about #5 getting lost amongst other flyers.

  11. I agree too with Sarah... not only does #5 not stand out, but its just plain uninteresting. I can't imagine people wanting to stop and read it.

  14. I think 4 through 6 would be my personal favs, but No. 3 is probably the safest choice, so I guess that one gets my vote. Is there really a need to only pick one anyway? I've not heard if this has been decided, but we made 4 different posters last year (all a similar theme of course) and had them all printed locally for around $75 dollars. Thoughts?
