Catering Options (PLEASE MAKE SUGGESTIONS)


Below is a preliminary list of catering possibilities. The budget needs to be make ASAP for catering, so everyone please make an effort to comment on this post with suggestions, other options, type of food, etc. Keep in mind, the discussion should be proactive instead of retroactive. Catering is not optional, so please help us with some positive suggestions or comments.

-Average $3.75 – $5.50 per person for Cold Hors d’ oeuvres
-Average $4.25 - $5.75 per person for Hot Hors d’ oeuvres

Pulled pork BBQ, turkey breast, grilled chicken, pork chops (grilled/blackened), catfish
(fried/blackened)
green beans, French fries, squash casserole, mac and cheese, homemade chips etc
soup and salad about $4-$5 dollars per person
fried green tomato appetizers $7/person
Sandwiches- $8

  2. I think finger foods and sandwiches work best. They can also be easily altered for vegan/lactose/gluten free needs.

  3. I think this panel should make the decisions about the food. I trust you guys to pick the best options, I don't think everyone needs to decide on this.

    Anyway, Blairs sounds good for the show, comfort sounds good for the panel review.

  4. I talked to the photographer I intern with, and she said she would give me a list of caterers/restaurants that they use for their photo-shoots. When I get it, I will email it to you!

  5. Finger foods sound best for the show, I like Blairs suggestion for show and maybe sandwiches for the panel review. but I also agree with Shannon you guys should just make the decision. we trust you guys to pick what is gonna work best.
