THE FINAL DAYS for installation and finalization... this means, all work is installed on walls... floors are vacuumed, trash is GONE, tables are ready for setting food/drinks. (Which by the way, we are not having alcohol) Mounted poster should be installed and ready for presentation. Pretty much EVERYTHING IS COMPLETED.
Wednesday and Thursday OF THIS WEEK. Thursday 8pm is the last walk through before the show on Friday at 6pm. We will be shutting the doors on Thursday at 8pm and not opening them until 4:45pm Friday afternoon.. so be ready!
All of Refreshments panel please be at the space by 5:00pm to setup food. Everyone else should do the same to make sure lights are on etc. etc.

It is still up in the air about having final crits. in the gallery space. (per. tom and paul) Please continue looking at the blogs/emails for final word on where critiques will be held. We might not have to take work down until after crits. then.

Shouldn't someone be there a little earlier than 4:45 on Friday to open it up and air it out... just sayin'. It's pretty musty smellin'.
ReplyDeleteAlso, if we have crit @ the space, I will not have room on my wall for all my pieces... I don't want to have to lean some of my pieces against the wall. I'll be taking mine down after the show anyway so there is no chance of them getting damaged.
